About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Transmission Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, remove/install, and maintain automotive transmissions. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, detail-oriented, and confident working independently or with a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
What You’ll Do
· Remove and install automotive transmissions
· Repair or replace transmission components, including clutches
· Perform routine maintenance on transmission systems
· Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks related to transmission performance
· Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems tied to transmission systems
· Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
What We’re Looking For
· Proven mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle transmission systems
· Ability to diagnose transmission issues accurately and efficiently
· Proficiency with hand and power tools used in automotive repair
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Prior experience working with automotive transmissions
Tools & Physical Requirements
· Must have necessary tools and a toolbox
· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
· Must wear safety glasses and follow all shop safety procedures
